Forum Upgrade to 5.7.2

The forum has been upgraded to the latest version of vBulletin 5.7.2. The web server configuration was modified during the maintenance window to have better performance now. For those regular visitors, you may or may not have noticed the website went down. Thank you to JonMarsh and Reet for notifying me that the site was down. After going through logs the server ran out of memory from all the connections. That was a good sign to me that people are coming to the site .

Formatting of links to external sites has changed a bit. It looks like there's an icon link that is broken in the first one I found, linking to "https://www.avnirvana.com/images/logo.og.png". I guess this is more of a problem with AVNirvana than HTGuide though.

That is a new feature of 5.7.2 with the way links are displayed. It's like modern chat programs that display more info about the link.

Linking to a thread on this forum also brings up a broken image reference, looking for "https://www.htguide.com/images/quarto/dark_cyan_light/misc/htg_banner_main.png".

Thanks for finding that Reet I will get that fixed. It must be cached on my side cause I totally missed that flipping between the themes. Appreciate the quality assurance check

That was all removed due to that plugin they were using for that no longer being supported with vBulletin 5.x. Do we think that would be advantageous to the forum again? We are starting to get more traffic which is great to see!!! Perhaps start another thread in the general carpet asking this and lets see what people say.
