I don't want to sound like an old man here, but I watched these awards the other night and found a lot of things lacking.
First off, NONE of the songs performed were memorable in ANY way! Utterly forgettable actually. Other than the pyrotechnics and dancers, there was nothing redeeming about the songs performed at all. Secondly, most were dance songs which is fine if you are dancing, but some people like to sit down and listen to their music right?........or am I maybe off mark here?.
Where were the awards for Jazz....folk...ect??!! Oh ya......no time for that right??!! SHEESH!
