Thanks for posting the pictures Chris, my room is so dark that I need to use scene mode on my camera to get enough light through the shutter and this makes the file size larger then normal. They still don’t look very good though, I need to learn more about photography
.
I hear the bongo analogy a lot, the guy over at exoticaudio.org described them that way as well. The idea of the shape was to channel the back wave away from the driver and have it dissipate as much as possible before it gets back to the cone. I had 5 different shaped prototypes before I chose this one, and there did seem to be a discernable difference between the different shapes. Sphere, pyramid, two different tapered polygons and beveled square were among the different types I tried.- Bottom

Nemesis, what brand/model number is that screen of yours? That's sweet and I've been thinking of doing something like that for my C1. Unfortunately, I never found on that would allow it to sit like that. Is there some kind of a stand built into it? :T
Thanks!- Bottom

MAGS - Very minimalist and zen. Very tasteful and clean. And a fine selection of components to boot. You should be a contemporary interior decorator.
Alright, you guys inspire me to get up off my ass and borrow a digicam so I can post pics of my setup now.- Bottom

No, no... my little girl's massively cute. That's just a funny pic I found to put in the avatar for a few weeks. Okay, this may be cheating, but I'll use the excuse that somebody ELSE brought up the subject, and this IS a picture thread after all. So it's not my fault I'm posting a pic of my little muffin:

I don't think I've posted pictures of the half-rack Z-series.
Here's the Zphono:
The Zselect speaker selector:
The Zamp v.3:
And the Ztuner:
For all of these components, here is an equally scale sized apple for size comparison:
If nothing else, these components have some real nice looks to them. Here's more pics of the Ztuner:
And of the Ztuner back with RS-232 control.

Thanks, Will! She's 18 months old here in a few days.
When we were considering baby names, I actually mentioned "Halo"... that didn't get a warm reception by the wife.CHRIS

Those look like Dynaudio Audience, if so, very nice. you would be surprised how much better imaging could be if there is no furniture between the speakers. Nice set up, BTW- Bottom
