First off it is sad to see so little activity here - but hoping that you guys are still checking in to see what is going on.
So I really want to get some pointers on how to best combine a soundbar and a traditional setup for a home theater.
The reason I want to do this is that using the SSP setup for say turning on the news is to complicated for the rest of the family.
The soundbar I will be using have hdmi arc input/output but if I use that then using the same on the SSP will make the tv confused on where to send the signal or will turn on the soundbar together with the SSP and that does not work.
It also have optical but that limits the bandwidth to 24/96.
So have any of you guys a similar setup and/or experiences to share on this matter?
