At first I thought it was my PureAV Conditioner that was the problem. I called tech support as to why my switched outlets werent working and also that my Classe was shutting sound down every couple hours for the past 2 days. Tech support said it was a faulty Conditioner and that is now being replaced. After packing that unit up to return, I plugged all equipment into the wall so I can still use my system. After coming downstairs I noticed the sound was gone again! Meaning the 2nd issue was the Classe, not the Conditioner....With everything left on, the Classe makes a loud clicking noise every once in awhile but no sound from any source (digital or analog). If I shut the unit down and turn it back on the sound comes back for a couple hours then turns off again
I have tried to call Classe but they are closed till Monday and it is long distance for me to call the US. Has anyone experienced this before.
I bought the Unit from a Audiogon Member 6 months ago who purchased it brand new Feb 2010 from an authorized dealer in Calafornia.
Firmware Version - 1.5.3 build 0271
Hardware - Titan 6.84
Bootstrap - Kickstart 1.1.7
I have recently (within 2 weeks) upgraded the stock Power Cord to a Black Sands Violet II Cord. The unit has lots of space to breathe being on its own rack.
I am really not sure what could be wrong. I thought and still think that Classe products are some of the most reliable equipment available on the market today..
I will be calling Classe on Monday but was just hoping someone may have encountered this problem before and can shed some light
Thanks
