Hello,
I'm going to be building an external crossover box and have planned to run standard 12 gauge speaker wire to the tweeter and woofer for each speaker. The wire length per speaker will be no more than 6 feet.
Will this wire size be sufficient to avoid changes in frequency response, crossover frequency, etc? Will using binding posts on the crossover box, rather than wiring directly from crossover to banana jacks for speakers and amplifiers, affect things (two less binding posts - input and output - in the signal chain)?
Thanks,
DWB
