Hi,
I've decided to build a dipole speaker (15"driver in H-frame, 10" on winged baffle)with 1" compession driver+WG (around 12" diameter) according to Dr. Geddes theory.
I have built a test baffle and measured drivers. So I assume xo freq to compression drive in above 1k range.
After reading lots of threads about CD WG I realized that I can't answer myself, WHAT is more important - follow the polar patern in front of the baffle of midwoofer or smoothly connect power response and make polar patern less directive? Or something between? Or both can be obtainable?
Here is the half polar horizontal measurements (0, -15, +15, +30, +45 verticaly) of midbass I quickly made.
