    Coming soon! Blue bamboo monitors.

Been working on the details of these for over a year now. As some of you may recall, they started out as quickie, black prototypes done in my garage. What you see here are CNC machined cabinets, with custom faceplates and automotive "candy blue" bamboo baffles. The rest of the enclosure is a glossy, 2 part hot spray coating similar to truck bedliner. More to follow once all assembled.

This is candy blue automotive paint without the metal flake layer behind it. Apparently PRS and other high-end instrument makers are doing this more and more rather than just using dyes. We could of course, offer any shade or metallic choices as well. This pair of faceplates has the engraved logo hand painted, but future plates will have the logo color filled from the factory for better consistency. We did not want the logo to be silkscreened or a sticker. The engraving adds a nice 3D effect in person. CLL stands for Critical Listening Labs.

Very pretty. I like the look. Is that simulated wood grain we're seeing then? I'm not a purist and objecting, just wondering.

Back with more. Yep, cabinet created with 45deg edges to make assembly easy. Tape the back side, glue and fold. Perfectly square edges with no trouble. I'm loving it.
