    Zaph ZDT3.5 Center Channel build

I built Zaph's ZDT3.5 center channel speaker. Been reading this site for a long and it has been very helpful. If anyone is interested I can show pics of the build.

I really enjoy the sound of the center speaker, well worth the build. Am now in the process of building a stand so the center speaker can fit under the tv.

That's a handsome piece of furniture! You need to post these pics in the Missions Accomplished > DIY HT/Audio Furniture Showcase section of this board!

                        Nice job!

very impressive, did you build a version of the center with no BSC to be put in the stand like that?

That stand deserves some more documentation if you built that from scratch, very nice.

I built Zaph's sealed center channel speaker, no changes. The stand I made from scratch, using 3/4" MDF board. Painted with Behr's satin black exterior paint, rolled on.

How do you like the way the H-K and the Zaph speakers work together?
                                (I have a H-K AVR 525, and am wondering).

I have a Yamaha HTR-5760 for my AVR. It seems to work good for the center channel. The HK 3480 is used as a pre amp for my mains.

Nice! I am just putting my crossover shopping list together. Can you share the part #s for the woofer portion and do you have any pics/advice on putting the crossover together?

What speakers do you have for your L/R mains? I have Nat P's for mine and thinking about doing this for my center project. Very nice work :T

I have the Occam Audio MTM for my L/R mains. The center channel works great with them. I am halfway finished building the Khanspire's for my new mains.
