Watched this DVD last night. My wife and kid had already seen the movie, but I hadn't. I liked it. Horses didn't talk, generally acted like human-smart horses. The story wasn't anything exceptional, but it was enjoyable.
The image on the disk is pretty nice. Being that it is animation (CGI as well as hand drawn) it looks pretty nice on a big screen. CGI water and river scenes are really beautiful. It's a single disk, so this is in spite of likely benig fairly compressed.
Has some nice extras too. One has the lead animator go through the steps on drawing Spirit starting from a line skeleton that my son (4) liked alot.
Got kids? Get it. Don't got kids? Maybe get it anyway.
