One of the things ThomasW and I did some extensive work on last week was speaker stands, driven mostly by my dissatisfaction with the biggiest Lovan stands and the old Celestion stands we still had around for our bookshelf project, the M-8.
Well, we think the results speak for themselves.
A party who had borrowed the M-8's the week before conceeded that they sounded "worlds better" at ThomasW's, with these stands in use.
I don't see how how you could ask for a more ringing unsoloicited endorsement, huh?
We suggest completing them with high grade finishes, such as flat black, or, in the manner of Wilson Audio, premium metallic automotive finishes- for an example, see their new "Sephia".
Materials cost is so rediculously low I'm not even going to bring the subject up. Oops. :B
This post was delayed because I was too lazy to copy the picture file off my laptop, so instead I got the laptop hooked up to my DSL.
Have a good weekend, everyone!
