I'm a fan of the M:I movies (yes, even the second one). Went to see this yesterday at an IMAX (a full 15perf/70MM capable venue) and was a bit disappointed. Not by the movie (very entertaining and should be seen on a BIG screen if at all possible). By the lack of actual IMAX footage. The fourth movie was, like a number of recent films, shot partially in 15perf/70MM IMAX, with the variable aspect ratio to show it off. I expected the fifth (current) movie to have the same IMAX elements. Alas, it did not. Still an fine piece of entertainment but no need to seek out an IMAX venue to get the full effect.
