Standard treatment is chemo and radiation, at least that's what a specialist from MD Anderson in Houston was saying.

Yeah that's too bad. But the Douglas clan is noted for being pretty darn tough and hard to kill. Just look at Michael's dad.

Unfortunately has been diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. :-( He remains optimistic, that with his 80% chances due to it not spreading yet, that he can be cured. I hope the best for him and his family as I am sure everyone does.

He of course, has two kids with Catherine Zeta Jones.

What does this mean for him physically, has not been discussed in public. But from the sound of it, I would guess something fairly radical procedure wise may be needed.

Unfortunately, he complained to Dr's early this summer about his throat, and they couldn't find anything then.

So, keep him in your thoughts/prayers.
