  • ? about 802d

    Hi,

Is it possible to triamp the 802d?

I have a Linn c6100, which is producing 100w in 4 ohm into 6 channels, would it be possible to run the 802d's with this one? If not triamped then biamped maybe?

No it's not possible to tri-amp the 802D without modifing the speaker, which I wouldn't recomend. You can bi-amp the 802D by connecting one amp channel to the top input on the speaker (for the midrange and tweeter) and one amp channel to the bottom input (for the woofers). Just make sure you DO NOT have the supplied jumper wires connected between speaker terminals or you'll have one unhappy amp!! You also will need to send the same signal into those two amp channels.
