Ok folks.......just turned 50 this November 11th and a friend of mine got me another copy of Chris Botti's live in Boston on Blu ray for my birthday (Busted my original in a late night drop on the floor!). Spun it again last night and I must say, It's a benchmark for what Blu ray is capable of in both picture and sound. Simply Fantastic!!........if of course you like this type of music. :T

There's several songs that bring me to tears in that video, starting with the conclusion of the first song. As a trumpet player myself, a good, solid, trumpet tone can make me fall apart. Chris came up to Anchorage in concert a year or two ago, and I got tickets wayyyyyy ahead of time. One of the top 2-3 concerts I've ever been to, and his performance of Nessun Dorma left me literally shaking in my seat. I met him afterwards, and had him sign a piece of artwork I specifically had made for the concert.
CHRIS
Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.
