    As I age and see more and more of my childhood memories pass away, including friends and family, I'm starting to understand how elderly folks reach the point of being ready to go. They're left more and more alone in the world with each loss.

      She passed away today on the 41st anniversary of Elvis's passing... Queen of Soul and the King of Rock on the same day... seems a bit coincidental, maybe some sort of cosmic significance there...

      Heaven has some great concerts going on, that's for sure.
