It is so V sad.
Despite never achived her potential, she had one of best voices I have ever heard.

Yes, very sad.
I don't know though. I think I'd argue that she did in fact reach her potential--"I Will Always Love You" had such an impact on modern culture at the time that she did "The Bodyguard". So beautiful, and still one of the greater love songs ever performed. IMHO, she did it far better than Dolly did.
She certainly had her demons, though, and if she did reach her potential, she was not able to sustain it. RIP, Whitney.CHRIS
Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

This is a tough one. My daughter and I connected to her music when my daughter was very young. She was so talented, and had such class performing. Everyone knows her history, it's a sad story, of having to fast a lifestyle to live, and being to young to die. She was a victim of her own success and those she associated with. His lifestyle, it seems ruined her. She couldn't control it, it took control of her. She had everything, and gave it all away. Well, she's found peace now I hope. But it was far to fast to loose such an icon.Doug
