Since I will be assembling a serious audio system in the near future, it's time to abandon the iTunes downloads & start rebuilding my CD collection. Is there a particularly good source for high-quality jazz & other CDs? In the past I have purchased CDs from BMG admittedly because they were relatively inexpensive. But now I am primarily concerned with quality. Thank you.

Welcome to The Guide, kitjv!
One of our great members "wkhanna" who contributes a lot of good info, was really impressed with the offerings from "Mapleshade". You might want to give their website a visit. I have yet to try them but, I plan to.
I do own a few from "Telarc". The sound quality of the disc I have are top notch. I can hear every breath, lip smack, fret move, you name it. As well as, good soundstage and dynamics."I have come here, to chew bubblegum and kickass. And I'm all out of bubblegum!!!"
