Really? Cool. I recently hunted down and bought the Gold remastered CD's of "Unforgettable Fire" and "Joshua Tree" by U2. Cost me a pretty penny.

As for metal, I'm actually listening to Megadeth's "Countdown to Extinction". I love "Symphony of Detruction". There's a Gold remastered CD out of that, too, but I haven't picked it up.

Yes indeed. I will receive the Rocka Rolla K2 20bit, Sad Wings Of Destiny K2HD 24bit and The Best Of K2HD 24bit (these 2 last in mini vinyl replica).

Cant wait to hear it in my BW 803D

Oh yes, the old Judas Priest. "Victim of Changes". My all time favourite J.P. tune.

Good god, it sounds completely amazing! All the dynamics are there, just like my old vinyl record. But it's so smooth, distortion-free and clean. All of Rob Halfords amazing vocals are perfect on this remaster. The guitars sound absolutley awesome! I believe this is the best remaster I have ever heard.

No harshness......no digital glare....no digital nasties whatsoever.

Dreamer Deciever just blows me away!

Have been getting my Metallica fix lately while driving. "Master of Puppets" and "And Justice For All". Although "Kill em All" was groundbreaking at the time, I think those 2 albums were there best work. It should have been a double album. Have been listening to them for years and still don't get tired of it ;b>

    The Tree rocks!

It is amazing how much music there is available from them. Out of curiosity, what disk or disks do you own or have you heard?

P.T. music has really evolved. Steve Wilson the creater/writer of P.T. has a lot of side projects that are great as well.

My favorite side project from him is Blackfield.

I think he may still do some Halo, but I'm not sure. He's doing a lot with Elan, and big A/V receivers these days.

Oh, and back on topic (sort of)...

Ah, Brian, yeah, I remember them being a Parasound dealer. I'm the moderator of Club Parasound here in HTGuide--feel free to check it out. I never did meet up with the guy, though.

    Heard of Theater One?

It's based right off of 152nd!

The owner is a good friend of mine, and I occasionally lend him a hand on jobs...

I bought the Mofi Megadeth, actually. It's slightly better than the recent remaster reissue of Countdown. Actually, the Mofi is a remaster of that remix. Still think it's worth it, though.

Yeah... I could go broke buying all the special editions with bonus tracks, remasters, OOP, and 24kt. re-releases of my favorite releases, if I let myself.

    The big question is...

    Does it rock HARDER??

    (These go to ELEVEN!):

Don't get me wrong. I keep it old school too with Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Priest.

Foxman and Brian, if you like prog metal, check out Disillusion's Back To Times of Splendor.

Not sure Dream Theater Counts as Metal...well I guess it is kind of Prog metal.

Otherwise about the only metal I listen too is older stuff from Metalica, Sabboth, Maiden and the like.
