CD review website?

Hello everybody:

Is there a particular website that critically reviews cd's for not just the music content but specifically the recording quality? I would be looking for one that is searchable by artist and/or song and that is fairly vast in it's content. I love music and I have a system that can pretty faithfully reproduce the sound but I'm almost more interested in the recording quality than the music itself. I would rather listen to something that isn't right up my alley if the recording quality is pristine than something that I really like but has a mediocre sound quality. It seems that the good ones are few and far between. Are the vast majority of music listeners just not critical of quality or do they just not have the systems to distinguish between good and not-so-good? Thanx for helping.

I agree with Amazon plus, the listmania sometimes can lead to great new finds. Also, the Steve Hoffman forum is a good place to ask about different artists and which album is the best recorded.
