Rotel RSP-1576MKII - Does BYPASS surround mode disable Dirac? - UPDATED - No.

    Some help, please:

I understand that when Analog Bypass is the default mode for an analog input, the Dirac filters are disabled.

When a digital input has the default mode set to stereo and a Dirac filter engaged, what happens when Bypass is manually selected from the surround mode options on the remote or processor? Is the Dirac filter then disabled?

In other words does Bypass eliminate all processing by the MKII, including Dirac?

I found the answer elsewhere. Dirac remains engaged when Bypass is selected as the surround mode. It's only the surround processing that is supressed.
