    Another member of the Isiris family, built in the Ukraine

    Back in May, "Yurii" from the Ukraine wrote me about PDF plans for the Isiris. I sent those to him, with some comments, and today I got a thank you and a link to his Google photos library, where I've download a few pictures to share...

            That's a pretty good question- the midrange looks to be a Fostex, probably in their Sigma series; the tweeter could be a Mundorf AMT series driver or one of several others (all probably coming out of the same factory).

            Woofer is hard to say, relatively small foam surround and the style of paper cone hints at a European brand Pro audio 12" woofer.

                  Nice build.
                  A bit annoying how easy some can make it look to build something like this.
                  I also notice that we now have yet another way of making the facets. With a router, rails and a sled. I have seen that method shown and discussed when it comes to table tops (ie. workbenches), but not used as this. Looks like it worked out OK ;-)
