Server Reboot required for bash security patch

I just learned of a serious vulnerability in the bash shell included in most every Linux distribution. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/09...sh_shell_vuln/

I found a patched version for Debian Squeeze and installed it on the HTGuide server, but I'll need to reboot it to ensure any ongoing shells running on the server are refreshed.

I'll reboot the server at 12 PM EDT (a little under an hour). The site shouldn't be down for more than a couple minutes at that time.

If you have any questions, please reply to this thread, or PM me.
