Hmm...sounds like non sense. Seems like it's saying that......regardless of what happens until we look into the box the cat is both alive and dead. So what if the cat was indeed in the box and we leave it for a year will it not start roting? Hah from what I understand of the wiki is that it was meant to disprove something about Quantum Mechanics. Maybe I misread though?

Looks like a nice, affordable, economical fun car to kick around in. Be interesting to see if they come out with a turbo sport model and/or see what tuners do with it...turbo's, V-6 swaps etc... could be fun times!! About time Toyota started making interesting cars again! If it's got the Subie 2L 4cyl boxer motor I wonder how easy a WRX drivetrain swap would be...?

Wow...when I first looked I thought it was the new Supra everyone was talking about a few years ago. That is awesome looking! If it's got the boxer motor then it's got lots of potential as well.

The flip king still reigns! Nick, I don't know how you can get so many flips, but not have time to sleep at night.
Good afternoon. After class, I drove into Albuquerque to do some shopping. Saw a "Trader Joe's", which I had heard about, but never been in. Looks like some decent food, so I picked some up and will try it tomorrow. Then I went to Jos A. Banks, a men's clothing store. They were having a sale on suits, so I got a $550 suit for $199, plus free shirt and tie. Got a couple extra shirts and another tie, and it's pretty sharp. Mostly got it for my upcoming conference in China. Wanna look good while I'm talking on stage. Afterwards, while walking to my car, I walked by a good stake restaraunt, and stopped in for a good meal. Had an EXCELLENT sirloin with cream brandy sauce. Watching Sportscenter now, with the ALCS highlights.

It's years since Toyota gave us a really nice looking entry/mid-range coupe. I never liked the last Celica or the MR2. I had a Celica in the early 90's and that was a great little car. Well built, looked great and had a decent spec. for its day. I had a thing for Japanese coupes in the early to mid 90's. And, when I finally had the money I wanted to buy a Supra but Dee flipped out and said she'd not be seen dead in one. I still can't believe I listened to her!
So, the new concept look great and with a sweet scooby engine it has the potential to be a winner and some real competition for the 370Z. Incidentally, I think it looks a bit like it at the front and a bit like the AM Vantage to the rear. From what I read and it's a while back since I read it, that the new Supra was to be based on that fancy new Lexus hypercar. But that's probably changed since.

I don't know how much competition it would be for the 370z as it's supposed to be quite fantastic in stock form.

That's a great looking Ferrari. I do wish though that they'd go back to their classic tail lights. I'm not a fan of the high, corner mounted type on this one or the F430. Oh well, still looks cool overall.

So I'll have to tack Statics on in the spring bringing me to 18 credits. Picked up the textbook this week. I'm gonna' need to upgrade to one of these puppies... ![]() Back to my regularly scheduled program (pun intended). EDIT: My turn to cook tonight. I'm going to sear off a beautiful pork rib roast I bought in some rendered applewood bacon fat, then roast it in the oven with some brussels sprouts, butternut squash, onion, apples, garlic, and thyme. While it rests, I'll make a pan-sauce with some riesling, whole-grain mustard, grade-B maple syrup, horseradish, the roasted garlic, chives, kosher salt, and freshly ground pepper. That will be dinner/lunch for a couple days. I love fall, and all the fall produce from my area.

Working on putting my tattoo together for next weekend. Have a friend in Scotland working on translating "friends" and "family" in to Scottish Gaelic to be integrated with an artistic interpretation of this:

Ditto. I have a couple , and thrice tweren't enough times to reconsider. Maybe four or five-however many it takes to absorb the permanency thing! Puts me in mind of the "sweet-young-thing" who got a tattoo of a butterfly on an upper appendage-by age 50 the Sierra Club was sending her love letters for supporting the "Save The Condors" effort.

Well I got my first about 14 years ago and still like it. If I'd changed my mind/regretted it I think I'd have done it by now
Besides this one's a reward/reminder for beating cancer. Getting it on my chest above my heart and the friends/family reference is so that I'll always have them close to my heart and is a salute of sorts for their help with getting me through my battle.

I almost got a tattoo of a chile pepper once - but decided not to.
I can see how winning a battle against cancer might inspire some ink. Funny YouTube video... ----- No sleep for me today/tonight - still working on the same damn coding project I've been chipping away at for over a week. ----- Our place smells great - roasted pork, fall vegetables, and various aromatics. ----- Back to the grind...

Not that I'm into tattoos(I'm not!) but I am interested in your translation. I speak Gaelic - but there are subtle differences beween Gaelic and Scots Gaelic - it's more of a dialect thing. I'll throw my way of saying things here for you.... For your information and curiosity if nothing else. Right.... 'Clann' is one way of saying Family but there are specifics to take note of as we don't have just one word for it. Teaghlach means family as in the family in your household. Muintir means family as in your extended one, including all of your relatives and Clann mean family as in your spouse, children and decendants. Next 'Cairde' is friends. Cairde is pronounced Chard-jeh. So, "Mo chlann is mo chairde" is "My family and my friends". or "Clann" and "Cairde" for "Family" and "Friends" Note that the 'Mo' causes a mutation in Clann to become Chlann and Cairde to becore Chairde. Confusing?! Well, let's just say Gaelic and English are not an easy mix! If you want to replace clann for one of the others above you can do so too. Let me know how the Scots comes out.

Well, you do what's right for you Jason, but it seems way extreme to me, but I didn't fight your fight either, so do what is good for you.
it's cool , but I think I'd choose something less complex and large looking? but it's not me, just throwing caution up. |

Well, now, granted... it WAS the French they chose. Had another good couple of days. Yesterday I was a sucker... that store that I bought the suit from, had a deal where you could buy additional suits for $99. So I bought two more, a grey herringbone, and a navy blue herringbone. In the end, I ended up with about $2,900 worth of 3 tailored suits, 3 shirts, 2 ties, and 2 pocket hankerchiefs, for under $1k. I think I'm even going to wear one on the plane on the way home. I usually wear "dress casual" when I fly--I like to look nice, remembering the heritage of days dressing up for flying. But still like to have comfort. We'll try out these new suits shoes, since I bought them specifically to fit very nice and wear very comfortably. Oh yeah, I bought a pair of Ecco dress shoes, too. ![]() Then today, class ended early, so I went to BMW and Honda motorcycle dealerships, just to look at touring motorcycles for the heck of it. Won't be buying, but man, would it be fun to have a big touring bike to drive around Alaska in the summer. ![]() ![]() Then lastly, Albuquerque is having its annual hot air balloon festival. Tonight they tethered all the "special shape" balloons, and fired them up as it got dark, lighting them up beautifully. Ended with fireworks. VERY enjoyable. (not this exact pic, but I'll post my own later) Flying home tomorrow. Oh, I missed the part about the tattoo! Rock on, Jason, if that's what you decide to do. I've thought many times about getting one myself, but in the end I've always done the default and not done it. I've got a basic design all thought out in my head.

Just typical - the sniff of a flip and the posts end at 31! Setup!
I picked up a couple of bits myself recently. First up I picked up a new pair of Sunglasses on sale at my Optician. I got a pair of Tag Heuer ones for €80 - normally €350. I wear glasses - actually all my glasses are Tags -including some custom sunglasses but I also wear contacts sometimes but I dodn't have regular sunglasses. Well, I do now I suppose!

Once again, I log on to a count of 32... but alas I can not flip...
----- Lectures and then home to bed at 5PM... I've been up since Wednesday and I'm feeling it... Work tonight, then games and wine on Saturday with Sarah's side of the family. Sunday I'll be writing up lab reports for Biology and Digital Design. Next week I begin my midterm exams... can't believe the semester is just about half-way over. I certainly feel it physically, but time-wise it seems like yesterday was the first week of September.

I bought a pair of black shoes for my daughter's wedding. I started to get echos, but wound up getting Mephisto. They are ok, except for one having a break from prior try on, and not the other one. I don't know, I may look once more before deciding firmly to keep or not to keep. But I do want something really comfortable.
