Although people that know me may think of me as a BMW Fan, I too have always liked Corvettes. I Owned a C3 1974 L82 Stingray for 10 years, driving it only in the summer... I loved that car!
Anyway, I ran across this one and had to post it for I think it is truely stunning in execution. I love this guy's garage and always dreamed of a simular setup... (not in this lifetime I suppose)
1962, a beauty

Wow, that is a truly stunning garage (well, and car) :)
My classic American car history is a little lacking but just from an asthetic standpoint that's quite breathtaking.

I really like that one!
You can see he has dropped the new LS1 V-8 in it and installed a nice set of chrome Z-06 rims on it..
Very nice!!
The garage is an inspiration. You would not believe some of the garages that are out there.
Every Vette deserves a garage like that!!
Nice find Bing!
Thanks for sharing.:T

Thanks Andrew, unfortunately now this thread will be stuck up here forever as well....
Truth be known, I like his 67 Vette more, however the level of detail on the 62 is what I admire and Iam inpressed with.
Trev, I would absolutely love to have one of those Snap-on car lifts 8O Man that would be so handy!

That's OK if this one is at the top for a while.

Holy cow. That's a garage? That looks like a very nice kitchen from certain angles.
As for the lift, I have a friend that owns an automotive speed shop. He just had his own house built, and included a car stall in the garage that's two stories tall with a built-in full frame lift and an air compressor network. Cool stuff.

Oh yeah, baby. There's just something about Ferraris in red. Personally, I like the Enzo. It's very sleek in person.
Beautiful cars... and very respectable run in that video, Bing. Anytime a dude can get under 10, I give mega props. I can't get there. Did you see the launch that guy had? Lightning fast off the line!

Hey Chris, the Enzo is very nice in some instances, however some things about it I don't care for such as the ardvark like nose and the back cut side window. I have never been a fan of window styling like that. It reminds me of the Avanti or the new RX8 windows. Still, I know what you mean about seeing it in person. I bet it looks dam fine and would change my perspective. Believe it or not, I remember when I was about 13 years old, I hated Porsche Carreras. I thought they just looked ugly in magazine pictures I had seen of them. I remember my older friend who mentored me in cars saying to me " You have to see one in person, they look real cool..." About a year later I did see a 1972 911 Carrera with my own eyes. It was in screaming Yellow with a black "Carrera" stripe on it with a black leather interior... I was in love :P .. I digress...
That is a very nice launch from the WRX and damn fast. Any sub 10 second car is is something to be respected.
So if you don't mind telling, what's the best time you've ran with your Mits 3000?

Interesting. I can say with some surety though, that the WRX in the flick has MUCH, MUCH more done to it than just that $28.5K package. It takes a LOT of work and tweaks to break 10 seconds. I don't think anyone could make a "package" that would allow any car to break 10 seconds just by itself. It takes weight reduction all over, custom engine work, bolt-on performance, upgraded transmission, etc. $28.5K plus the cost of a car would be very cheap to break 10's.
Bing- The best I did in my 3000GT was 13's, back when it was much closer to stock. I should be right around 11 now, but haven't given it a run for the money on the drag strip yet.

Chris, by all account's EasyStreet seems to indicate that by adding the ESX package you will have the same 140+ MPH 10 second machine....
Our ESX 740 package is the mother of all new generation Subaru WRX's. Definitely an undisputed street weapon. If you want to own the road, then this 140mph+ 1/4 mile time slip giving monster is just what you need. This is the very same package used in our World Record Holding ESX.
I know what your saying that it takes a lot to break in to the 10 second bracket. This speaks highly of the WRX and the Easystreet package if it's claims are true. Notice in the video that they didn't even have big slicks like the Civic beside it.. Although the tires did look higher in profile that a standard street tire.
11 seconds 8O What a thrill ride that would be, almost like flying huh?
Bing
Saw a rare vette tonight. 1992 Vette with a mere 12,900 miles on it! I don't know what the asking price is. A car lot has it. Apparently, the sale is a result of a divorce, and it said on the car that 43 cars were auctioned as a result of this divorce. 8O
It's white with red leather, automatic. Not sure the motor.
