I'm waiting for the room addition to pull the trigger on the audio/HT upgrade (hurry up dammit!).

Right now I'm seriously thinking the N802s with Rotel RMB-1095 amp (maybe adding the RB-1090 or Bryston mono blocks for a future upgrade in a couple years) and wondering if anyone has driven the N802 with a (<$3k) tube amp or paired the 1095 with a (<$1.5K) tube preamp for 2 channel. I'm planning on the RSP-1098 or 1068 preamp for HT.

JazznSoccer,

I heard the McIntosh Tube Pre-Amp into the B&W 802's last weekend - very nice, musical, almost liquid sounding - but this is above your $2k budget so good luck
