Edurado, to play Halo online right now you must use waht is called Gamespy Arcade. It uses your PC with a crossover cable to link Xbox's for online multiplayer games.

I'm not sure how it would behave if you have Live, but check it out HERE (http://www.gamespyarcade.com/support/tunnel_xbox.shtml)

Speaking of which, I sure have not used my Xbox Live at all...

Bing - there is also XBConnect. I plan on buying XBox live in the next month or so.
