How about a Club Canadian? This should cover Mirage/Paradigm/Totem/Bryston/Classe and even Anthem (although, there may not be a lot of action on that last one :)
We could implement special rules like no posting unless drinking Moosehead beer and every sentence must end with "eh"
As a Canadian though, I'm still not letting you in on the secret handshake.

Having just put a deposit on an Anthem AVM 20 and the Anthem MCA 50, I would frequent a 'Canadian Club'. I too am Canadian, but have been living in the US since '83.

Count me in for a Canadian Club as well. As another Canadian ex-patriot I would be interested in a forum of this type, especially Paradigm and Anthem. Cheers.

Sounds like a plan, I have Mirages, so I'm game. I'm not Canadian, but I am North American, LOL.

Azeke

Haven't had a Moosehead in 14 years though......

I HAD a pair of Image 200 Loudspeakers made in Canada.
Anyone heard of these? I can't find them anywhere on the web.

Paradigm all around with a Marantz 8500 to make them sound quite nice!

I sold my Denon 3300 because it produced too hard of an "h" sound in "eh". Now the Marantz reproduces it perfectly!

The first time I fire up the Marantz, I said "EH!" :T

absolutly nothing! ok a couple places, 1 B&W dealership that didnt have a pair of 604's for me to listen to :( and he's by appointment only, doubt I'd get much of a deal anyway on the speakers I'm lookin for, got any tips for me? interested in B&W 604 S3 (or 605 S2.. doubt I'll find them) or some Energy Veritas 2.3's and I've also been told a pair of Monitor Audio Silver S10's might make me smile, building a 2 channel system, and I want bass.

Well, well.............how 'bout we open up a store 8)

If not...................you gonna have to update your amex and travel south. Lots of options here!
I'd take the B&Ws any day but I also love Monitor Audio when coupled with the right amplifiers. You have to audition them yourself to decide. Maybe a little tough for you because you've selected some very good units there. So take your time. Let me know if you need more info on dealers.

N.B. Not sure about talking B&Ws would fit onto this Club if we want to keep it Canadian = just canadian built units or ?? Not sure what the rules would be :)

I would like to join the Canadian Club, also from Barrie. Haven't had Moosehead in seven years after leaving Halifax which happens to be across the harbour from the brewery. I am a Classe wannabee right now (looking at SSP 300 and CA 5100) but I did own a Classe Model Seventy amp. Couple of emails previous talking about stereo stores in Barrie and both higher end folded. Presently down to Sony, Future Shop, 2001 etc, so if going shopping/browsing, need to go to Hogtown.
