I know I should just call B&K and get them to tell me, but does anyone already know?

A phone call is much better that trying to get an answer from the web site :x
I've heard that they distribute the software to the dealers, have you checked with one of them???

The upgrade will include a new processing chip, as well as new software. It will have to be done by a B&K service rep or B&K themselves.
As of ~2 weeks ago, the upgrade was still in limbo, according to a B&K tech rep. They should be close by now, but they wouldn't say.

This is very frustrating :x
Makes me wish I had spent the extra cheese for something higher end like Theta...but I will concede that buying a Ref50 is probably cheaper than upgrading a Casablanca...isn't it?

This really doesn't bother me much, as the only thing that I would gain is DPLII. And I don't really listen to DSP modes, so no big whoop.
Now, what does bother me is the fact that, if I was hot to trot about a new feature thru an upgrade, I'd be SOL, as B&K is very slow and very closed mouth about the entire upgrade strategy, if there is one.
