So for the longest time I have been wondering what the P3 does if Parasound already has the C1 and C2? Is it just a toned down version of a preamp or something different completely?

And regarding the T3...does anyone have this nice looking unit? It doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and currently I don't have any tuner, but I could always just use my Pioneer 45TX as a dedicated tuner. Is the T3 an ultimate tuner in some way, or are tuners just tuners nomatter how you package or make them look?

The C1 and C2 are surround controllers, so primarly made for surround environments with digital inputs and video routing.

The P3 is an analogue pre-amp, which has little to do with what the C1/2 can do. In theory a good stereo analogue pre-amp should sound better that a surround controllers, which has lots of bells and whistles which all make it more complex.

However, I can hardly imagine doing without a surround controller. Its still suitable for stereo usage and can so much more (bass management).

The T3 seems like a nice unit. If you go for same looks, then its definitly worth getting that one too, instead of something that looks out of place compared to your other halo equipment :)
For a radio it shouldn't do badly I assume, however I never listen to radio at home, so don't need that.

Does anyone ever listened to the stereo performance of the P3? How would it compare to stereo on the C2/C1?
