WooHoo, My Z1 arrived

Just picked up my Z1 from the shipping company a few hours ago. So far I am pretty impressed. With the blinds pulled, not prefect light comtrol (yet), the picture is bright with not to shabby blacks. I'm moving june 1 so I don't have it set up very well, sitting on the coffee table in front of my couch. The fan is no louder than my A/C. I am currently projecting a 75" 16:9 screen (mat white MDF) at a veiwing distance of 10' and just get a hint of screen door with sharp focus. I will probably save any serious tweaking until I move.

Keep us posted Greg. You hooking up to an HTPC or just a progressive player. What's the gear driving this sucker?

Right now I'm running an interlaced toshiba player, and an XBOX, both are looking pretty good right now. I havn't decided whether to get a prog scan DVD or build an HTPC yet. For my audio, I'm running a Rotel 1055, Bryston 9B, B&W 603, 601, and CC6, with a paradigm PS1000 sub. I'm busy studying for my med school final, so I don't have much free time for tweaking, until May 5. Maybe in early June we can arrange a local meet at my new place.
