View Full Version : New Infocus DLP is hitting the market now

It's the Infocus 7200 DLP with the new TI single chip . I have been reading some good stuff about it from a few new owners. Bright picture, excellent blacks... but unfortunately for me, it has a short throw lens. Kinda pricey, too, at $9999. US, but it is a 16:9 chip and it's 3 grand cheaper than the Sharp 9000 so that's an indication that true widescreen dlp PJs are getting more affordable.

Oh, I want it all right, even if it is a shortthrow and sitting in my lap. But not if I have to pay $15,000.CDN.
Really, though, my ceiling is a little too low for ceiling mount, so I pretty much have to stick to long throw PJs.
