Hello All,

Do anyone know what happened to "UNIVERSAL HD" on Comcast Cable in the Philly area?

Those cable and sat companies that do not have a deal with Universal HD were allowed to show it for the olympics. After the olympics they had to be removed. If and when Comcast signs an agreement, it will return.

Yeah, we had the same deal here in Cinci with Time Warner. Sure was nice while it lasted, though!

Yeah, it's still here on DirecTV. Not that I'm watching Night Rider or anything.

In the last few weeks, they've added TNT high-def also. Kinda cool.

It's not a comcast issue persay it's an issue with each system. For instance I know of a Comcast site in Mass. that still has it. It's about bandwidth per site. Some have it, some don't. So it's not on Comcast other than their network needs more bandwidth.

Their adding Crop and Chop TNT HD here as well soon. I'll watch it for basketball but how they treat their movies is just awful. Chop and crop. YUCK!!

Anything film based can be converted to HD and look as good as current HD. Or are you questioning the greatest show in TV history? ;)

Trust me, I'm not questioning the quality of conversion. :yeah:

It's not OAR so it's a big negative for me to watch Knight Rider.
