Both in production and out of production sit coms included. This is easy and hard at the same time. The first 3 are pretty easy for me:

04 was a tough year for me sit come wise loosing my number 1 and 2 shows off the air.

1. Friends.
2. Frasier.
3. Cheers
4. Everything else (This is where it gets more difficult between shows I've enjoyed over the years).

Honorable Mentions, King of Queens, Reba, Will and Grace, Joey. Mash (sometimes comedy), Dick Van Dyke, Andy of Mayberry, Taxi, and so on...

You listed my top 3, although I'd move Cheers to no. 1.

All Time?

Seinfeld
Mash
Barney Miller
Welcome Back Kotter (sp?)
WKRP in Cincinati
The Dick Van Dyke show

Thats a start. since Seinfeld is gone the sitcome world has been a black hole to me. The last four on the list I havent seen in years so I don't know that I'd still enjoy them, but I have fun memories of them. I am sure there are many I have forgotten about that I liked.

Forgot Taxi, that was classic also.

WKRP In Cincinatti
M*A*S*H
Wings
Soap

To me, everything else runs a distant fifth to these four.

Don't think these are classified as situation comedies but how about The Munsters and Leave It To Beaver?!

Friends, Scrubs and Arrested Development are tops of my list, with The Simpsons and the BBC The Office following closely behind...
