    Signal flow.. Does it have any influence ??

    Does the Signal flow arrow noted on audio interconnects has any influence ? can someone explain ?

    The majority of the time it simply indicates the direction the wire is 'drawn' (pulled) through the forming die.

    Sometimes it referres to a scheme where there is a lifted ground (drain ) wire at one end of shielded IC. This is called a telescoping ground.

    In the case of the telescoping ground IC's yes pay attention to the arrows.

    If the arrows are just indicating a wire draw direction just listen and see if you prefer one direction over the other.
