Depends on what you want to use it for I suppose. It would likely have less RF interference than a sound card in a PC case but it's no use to HTPC'ers as it's only two channel. You might want to post in the oh-so-phalic Tower of Power section

What would you do with this, and what are the alternatives?

It looks like a low power stereo AMP, probably Class D IC's, Sn isn't very good; hard to know what it sounds like without hearing it.

Now, I don't put down 15-25W amps; they can be useful at times, but I usually like them CLASS A, with high current power supplies and the attendent big heatsinks....

Since so many computer speakers these days have their amps built in, I'm not sure I see the application segment for this.

BTW, it's amazing to me how BAD most current computer speaker sets are. I have a pair of AR powered partners from the early 90's; 35watt RMS amp built into each one; they're in triangular aluminum cases; they weren't cheap, but they sound great for computer speakers, and they're certainly withstood the test of time, as they're 12 years old... classics, I'd say, but you haven't been able to buy them for years- I think they'ed be way too expensive for today's market of semi-disposable cheaply built computer gear.
