If you have a Pronto, you can take advantage of some of the discreet codes. Check out the downloads section on the Rotel site for info.

Or the Rotel RR 1090, stick to your own brand

Rotel discontinued the RR-1090 remote about a month ago. There may be a few still around. I had to purchase one of these to extract discrete IR codes (lacking on the standard Rotel remote) to program an RTI-T2 remote.

i bought my remote recently for 180 euro's, 2nd hands

only the programming, dvd3800, tu-s10, sony tv and the 3802.....

Within days, the 1066 arrives, and another programming. I allready programmed the 1066, download a file from Rotel, the 1065, had to be the same they said, I wonder...........

So av1 should be the 1066, av2 is the 3802 and the av3 is the tuner. Espacially the save function with the computer and the editing on your computer is great, and off course, one remote instead of 5 remotes (vcr not yet configured)

Or find someone with a Pronto and learn the discreet codes into the 1066 remote.. You could also learn the input commands into easier places rather than under the sliding cover.

              Thanks for the replies....However..

I am using the std. remote that came with the 1066, and I don't know anyone with a pronto.....so I guess I'm shagged!!

Geez, I can't believe that Rotel would use 1 button to scroll through all those surround modes!!

If anyone else has an idea, I'd love to hear it...thanks!
