    Wish List

Which DVD movie/s or special interest disc you still don't have in your library that's a MUST have.

I am ashamed to say that I still need the following: -

    Gladiator SP
    Avia
    Shrek
    Toy Story2
    The Hunt for Red October
    Apocalypse Now Re:
    Apollo13 (Still way too expensive)

Is all I can think of right now.

    YOU?

who's must have list are you using? IMO someone else's must own may not be ones I need.

There are lots that I do want to pick up though and every time I'm near the DVD isle I see something I'd like but for me its the used section at blockbuster that seems to get me buying titles...its hard to resist $10cdn DVDs

But as to the original question I still haven't bought saving private ryan which many consider a must own.

I already have all the titles you guys listed. I'm still waiting for some old timers to be released, such as:

Yellow Sky ( Greg Peck western )
To Live and Die in L.A.
        Islands In The Stream
To Have And Have Not ( Bogart)
The Sun Also Rises ( Errol Flynn, Tyrone Power. Ava )
The Steel Helmet ( gritty Korean war movie)

        Just to name a few.

ops: I don't have enough self-control. I don't have any must-haves that I don't have! Now there are a TON of need-to-haves and want-to-haves that aren't in the house yet.

                  I still don't have:

                  Out of Sight
                  Apocalype Now
                  Bad Taste
                  Heathers
                  Beverly Hills Cop
                  Goldfinger

Let me just try to persuade you that Apollo 13 is not way too expensive. First you get the movie, then you get the commentary with the Lovell's. Those two alone justify the high cost. This is history captured.

Now Out of Sight, is still priced out of sight.

                    Shrek
                    Jaws (DTS)
                    Avia or any setup DVD
                    LOTR - waiting for Plat.
To Live and Die in LA - that would be cool.

                    So many to list.

Clive I have Apollo13 but not the DTS version

Sorry I've been a little quiet. Sometimes it seems like target practice around here, around me.

Paul, I began to believe that there had to be something special about that DVD (Apollo13). The price somewhere around $36.99 seemed out of proportion, but of course I've gotten spoiled at wallyworld too so hey!?

I forgot to mention TITANIC. I have it on VHS but I am curious to hear (and watch it) on DVD. I don't know the audio formats but many of you here may have experienced it already.

                      Concerts like

                      Frank Sintatra
                      Patti Lebelle and
                      The Jazz Masters

                      Also interests me.

Yeah, Clive, when it comes to Sinatra, I really would like to see Concert For The Americas released on dvd.
