    1055 - Stand-by Mode

Since purchasing the 1055 I occasionally have problems powering up the unit from stand-by mode. Pressing the POWER button on the remote has no effect and only works after powering down and up using the button on the 1055.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Regards
    Poul

I've had my 1055 for less than a month and have not experienced the problem you describe. As long as my blue light is on, I've been able to go the full function operation with the remote control. If the blue light is off, I need to push it in at the unit itself. But, that's not a usual operation for me since the unit is installed in a glass front cabinet and the remote is used for on/off control. (The blue light is always on.)
Have you checked the OSD for the power options? I don't know if that would make an intermittent difference, but, there are three options for power control. (page 13 of my manual) Good luck, Bob.
