    RDV-1080 (pictureproblem)

Sometimes when I play DTS tracks the picture freezez
    (just for a short time).
For example it happened the other day when I watched Minority Report Reg1 (DTS)

It´s like a layerchange, but shorter, is there someone else who has noticed this on the RDV-1080.

Please fill in if you noticed other problems with your RDV-1080.

I have had the rdv-1080 for a couple of months now and am very happy with it. The first one that I had, when I would try to scan through the chapters it would freeze up on me and the only way to get it going was to shut it off and back on again. Sometimes when I
had to do that, the tray would pop open and smack into my class door.
Anyways, my dealer got me a replacement, and I have been very happy since. I use the s-video until I can up-grade to a hdtv. I think the s-video puts out a great picture though. I have a rca 46in bigscreen right now. Inmo, The audio is great to. I have lovan focal points on it and to me it made a big difference. It really seemed to add depth. I just watched minority report the other day and did notice that a couple of times(2-3) there was a layer change type pause in the movie. Wonder if its something in the dvd disc itself?
Wish I could have been more helpful. Good luck

      Kevin

I´ve solved the problem with this solution.......

I sold my RDV-1080 DVD-Audioplayer and bought me an Onkyo Integra DV-S939 instead. So now I´m very happy again.

So you passed the problem on to someone else? Hope that they do not know you, because I would be real pissed

Never argue with a fool, one may not know the difference!

The problem wasn´t a real problem cause I tested A couple of other DTS disc´s and the freeze never appered on them, I only noticed it on Minority Report, so I think it was a problem with the disc.

            "dear MADD"
I sold it with 12 months warranty.

And I´m very sorry that I missed to put in an in my earlier post when I joked about solving the problem.

The guy who bought it is very happy and have no problems.
so it must have been a discproblem.
