    802D on Ceramic Tile Floor?

My new 802D's will arrive shortly, being shipped from MA. How should I set them up on a slightly uneven ceramic tile floor?

The casters would likely rock in most positions.

The spikes sitting on small discs maybe an option.

What have you folks done with heavy B&W's.

    Thanks, JohnnyB

    JohnnyB,

The large spikes that can be ordered with the 802D's are reversible. They have spikes on one side, and are rubbery and rounded on the other.
This should give you an option. The spikes are very good, so using them with floor discs is another option. One other thing I have heard of is go make granite/marble bases and put the spiked 802D's on these. This definitely costs more money, but I've seen nice results.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. The rubbery end opposite the spike sounds like the best way to proceed.

Would someone post a photo of this arrangement please?

      Thanks, JohnnyB

I've got 803D and use felt stick-on pads under them on ceramic tile. They are movable with a little effort, but also good to the floors - no rubber marks, etc.
