    Is this your theater?

If it's not, then you may not be a DIYer after all.

    Hah!

NO self respecting DIY'er would have a factory built TV in their HT!

HeathKits Rulz! And DIY FPTV screens!

I don't think I've ever seen more inexpensive MCM drivers collected in one place... it would be scary to see what that sounded like if they were all turned on at the same time....

This looks like Al Wooley's (RAW) room.

I believe your right John. I came across it and just thought it would be a good laugh to tease you DIYers with.

Yes, I'd bet money that it's Al, Canadian, Wooley's lab full of TB drivers. That's probably not an RPTV, but a mirror with Al's reflection as he wonders to himself: "Now what was my goal?".

            Ohohoohohhoohoho

You have NO IDEA on what can be found in Japan!!
I will try to dig out some HIVI (Hifi) magazines that I would buy every now and then....
reminder ..rooms in Japan are about 10'x9'

if I can get my hands on the pics..I'll scan....

you'll notice that the pic posted by Lex shows an almost empty room compared to the DIYers hee in Japan....mostly using Fostex speakers too..

And oh lord, I'd speculate that no married guy could get away with that sort of setup...............

The most rdiculous thing is the cat tree in the corner and therefore the implied existence of a cat with access to that room.

I do believe it was my room.
                  Nothing like now.
I have a pair of noodles (16 of the W3-319S1 and the G1 Ribbon perside)
A few pairs of the New Spires in there as well as the Clarus, Criterion,The TB MTM using the 657S and 25-302S and a MT using the same.

Then of the MLSSA set up on one computer Speaker Workshop on another.
A few cases of W3-871S and W3-319S1 for the Super Elfs that are in there as well.
Must not forget 2 5 drawer cabinets for parts one is my own the other is Bob from CSS for all his goods I build him.
Yes and then the demo EZY Sub kits I have the 14" 17" and 21" in the room as well.

At the open house DIY event I held last year I was finishing my basement ans showed my HT room off then.Well I now have got to the point with cabinet assembley and testing I have to get a room besides the TV room.
So I have built a test room it is 12X10 and all my goods will be heading in there. So the wife can watch TV.
As due to a mad rush for kits and finished speakers before I went on vacation that room looks worse than in the photo.
12 Super Elf xovers on the floor ect ect ect.

Cat post well kitty is only ever in that room when I am not.The minute I wlak in his butt is on fire on the way out :P Can not stand the test tones or the signal from MLSSA.

And I just removed the photo last night but will but one up to please you again

Hmmm. Your cat is different than mine have been. My last cat would have revenged himself on the speakers in my absence. Chemically and laceratively.

Not as bad as today that is for sure.
Running the cabinets out of the shop then the assembly and testing out of that room plus having a room to watch TV.Just does not work.

So getting my other room finally ready.
So the wife can watch TV in that rooom and not our bedroom. ops:

Kitty well both of them run as soon as I walk in the door and never touch a thing at all wet or dry
And my 3 yr old.She as well does not touch a thing nor has she ever.
My brothers little one that is a month older than my daughter.
Well 1 minutes in the room the one time he was in it.
Kicked in a few W8-740C driver cones as well as a few 2241 and pushed in a few TB 28-847S.
Lucky the 28-847S just pop back out very easy with no damage.
                        The others well.
Got a pile of them with cones that came out but need a little more work to be 95% .

Just shows that a kid can be taught not to touch.

My brother on the other hand.Well could not teach his boy not to touch, so he just took all the knobs off his stereo and then had to use Duck tape over them.
As the little one still would push the buttons. 8O
Not in my home that is for sure.
There is the word and bold at that.
                        DO NOT TOUCH!!.
