Siegfried Linkwitz's newest dipole woofer project

Many may know the name but not the man. Those familar with crossovers know Linkwitz/Riley. But not many know Seigfried designs some wonderful loudspeakers these include http://www.audioartistry.com

On his personal website he has very detailed plans for DIY copies of one of the Audio Artistry designs, (this is known as the Phoenix). And now he's posting preliminary info on a new dipole woofer, understand this is a woofer not a subwoofer. Enjoy
Open baffle loudspeaker prototypes with passive equalization and passive crossovers

PS: Seigfried's DIY projects use affordable drivers and are relatively easy to construct.

I shouldn't say this, but with the info on the Phoenix project on Seigfried's site, the Audio Artistry speakers would be a piece of cake to clone. And it would be inexpensive. :B
