RSP976 to 1066

Besides having updated formats, etc., is the 1066 supeior to the 976 in terms of stereo listening? Overall sound? What are the major differences, aside from the addition of the latest formats?

I havent A/B'd them, but 1066 has a better S/N rating than the 976.

I've heard the RSX-972 compared to a RSX-1055, which is fairly an identical comparison on RSP-972 vs RSP-1066.
The 1055 has a little more detail in the HT sound. But it's all a very subtle difference. With stereo there no difference, at least I didn't hear it.
