    these are amazing lil guys

I finally got the babies broke in and have to say, Dan Wiggins at Adire is a genius........these will run off a 3watt tube amp, but I'm running them off a Pioneer Elite and they purr

I have played around with the design a little and heres some more pics including stands and a walnut pair http://home.att.net/~speakerprojects/

Great work Mark! Love the page, it's so warm and inviting with all that nice woodwork.

Beautiful job. Are you using these for home theater or just music? And what are you using for a center channel?

          Thanks Guys!

Jack that sub of yours looks pretty sweet over at the Talk too.

          ryker,

I "will" be using these for both ........right now I have a magazine review pair Im breaking in and they are more than I could ask for in 2 channel as well as HT.

I took these up to Dan Wiggins of Adire today and we put them through some tests and then I got a chance to hear them on a tube amp and was pretty impressed.........

they match well with a tempest sealed subwoofer and we are now making a maelstrom sealed sub with a Hypex plate amp as the Match for 2 channel audio..........Im pretty excited to hear this combo

As far as a center I will probably use a redesigned HE10 and see If I can slim it down and turn it sideways

Thanks, Mark. It's one thing to apply a laminate semi-competently and quite another to get wood to positively glow like you do. That chessboard on the sub is just too much, I love that.

                Jack,

both laminate and wood both have their little "pains in the rears" , with laminate trying to make the edges completely disappear and with wood it always seems the final coat of "whatever" you use has a mind of its own.

Now that I stick with sealer/ Lacquer through a gun I have less trouble

                Jon..........
I like the walnut as well, I was not too happy to see them ship off
