how do you guys wire your Shivas?

How do you wire your Shivas for a 4ohms load? Do you do it like this?...

My only concern is that the wires may rattle against the basket on the down-firing driver.

    Brian,
Here is how I wired mine.

I just used the connectors on each end to hook to each amp channel.

Brian, in a chair ey? But you didn't pick a very comfy chair.

Pat's suggestion is best, this gives you the ultimate in flexibility whcn each voice coil is wired separately to a set of bananas. Then you can run 4 ohms or 8 as your desires might change and your available power changes.

I wired mine the same way. Only it's in 2 separates cabinets...

Then jump as Pat did for 4 ohm load, or leave separate for an 8 ohm load.

Use hot glue to attach the loose wires to the metal frame.

I used an input cup that has four connectors on it and just left in the metal plates that connected the top poles to the bottom. By connecting each coil from the driver to one set of poles I can very easily swap from a single 4 ohm load to dual 8's by simply removing the metal plates.
