The Rava Too!....an isobaric sub project

I had a couple of Woodstyle cube sub enclosures sitting around for many years. These are the same enclosures Adire uses for their Rava sub. JonMarsh just finshed putting a single Shiva in one of his boxes and was pleased with the results. Also there were 4 new Shivas just gathering dust. Sooo.... I though about building my very first isobaric sub.....

Hey! You're using my patented oak re-inforcing techniques for Woodstyle enclosures! Good think we're automatically cross-licensed on all speaker construction technologies...

I should convert the one I threw together to this configuration; it might give Kevin and Jeff an excuse to learn a little more woodworking- then tune it up with the Marchand Basis? An interesting plan for a small room sub.

Thanks for posting the pictures for the project.

    Regards,

    Jon

Well....... I can use one with the little receiver setup in my bedroom. How about using the other as a sub for the computer speakers? :B

The house is the stereotypic "rambling ranch" 2500sq ft on the main floor. The bedrooms are over crawl space. The rest of the house is over a 1500 sq ft basement. There's not very much bleed through from either of the IB's to the bedroom area believe it or not!
