    Cut holes or veneer first?

Is it better to cut the holes in an enclosure and then apply veneer? Or veneer first and then cut the driver holes?

Thomas is the master on this topic, but I'll put my experience to work here. I'd cut the holes first, then you use your router to trim the veneer.
Like I said,Thomas does this alot more often than I do, so there may be other ways I'm not aware of.

Kenny called it right. Do all the "gross" woodworking, then apply the veneer. That greatly decreases the potential of damaging the veneer.

Yes, and a dremel with a straight edge router bit can be a handy tool for finish edging on the vaneer after it's roughed in. Ideally, the bit should have a flat edged guide on it, but not real sure whether that's available.
