If by "crease" you mean surround, then yes it can be repaired, and it won't be too expensive. Depending on where you live try these repair services

        Well I still don't understand.

Speakers have different parts. Frame, surround, cone, etc. Or and you talking about damage to the cabinet?

I'm sorry, it's the cabinet that damaged.

Unless you're willing to refinish the surface after fixing the dent, I'm afraid that the cure maybe worse than the problem

The speaker has been covered in a veneer, either real wood, vinyl, or high pressure laminate. That makes repair more difficult. Unlike solid wood surfaces where a dent can be raised with hot water, a laminated surface requires a filler and then a fix to the veneer.

Ok, I have to ask, how do you raise a dent out of wood with hot water?!?

Will, another suggestion is, dim the lights.

This is a old repair technique for solid wood only. It doesn't work for veneered surfaces.

Take a small amount of furniture stripper and remove the finish from around the area of the dent. Build a little dam around the dent with Mortite also known as cord/rope caulk. Fill the dam with hot water. The water will cause the wood to swell. The area then must be sanded down and refinished.
If you want to see how this works just take a scrap piece of wood, mask of part of it and hold the exposed area under hot running water. You will see the grain has raised when the wood dries.
This is the reason water based wood stains require the surface to be resanded after they are applied.

Great technique Thomas. How deep a place will this work on? Not very I expect.

                  Thanks,

                    Hi Lex

It pretty much depends on the type of wood, and the number of times the water is applied. Obviously it's less effective on woods with a lot of internal oils, teak being a good example.

Yes, wood comes in many different varieties, and I can see where there could be a difference in the effectiveness of the technique. Cool idea though.
