Flashing with HyperTerminal was no problem at all. It worked okay, is easy in using, language independent and it's available in every Windows version.
Only the difference in download time with the various Windows version is a little strange, but that MS to blame, not Rotel.
With a special proggie to do the flashing, who can tell how this proggie will behave under the various Windows versions?- Bottom

I agree. I prefer to use HyperTerminal but understand it can appear clunky for the uninitiated. Hopefully the download software will be seperate from the .bin file and we have the choice. I would prefer to eliminate as many points of failure as possible. At least I know that HyperTerminal works for me.- Bottom

Is it only the update proggie you're testing? Or did it came with new firmware also?
Andrew, good luck testing and don't keep us waiting to long.
If Rotel need other testsubjects, maybe for a 1065? ....
